Reality Check: Employment, Entrepreneurship and Education in Uganda (2016 – 2017)

Summary:

CDA undertook a diagnostic study of the evidence and dominant discourse on Uganda’s employment challenge and its linkages with entrepreneurship and education. The study reframed the jobs debate and provided a new analytical framework for future research and programming to better pinpoint the binding constraints and opportunities for decent job growth. The study led to extensive engagement on future programme design with Uganda’s donor economists working group, the conference funders, World Bank, SIDA and ILO.
